We are currently planning to decorate DSs room and he is very keen on a space theme. So far, we have picked up a space themed duvet cover which looks great in his tepee bed. I'm a bit stuck for other ideas though. I have been thinking about one of those remote controlled planet sets which attach to the ceiling, although we'll probably keep that for his birthday, and add it in at that stage.
We have also contemplated painting a wall darkish blue and stocking bright coloured space themed decals on, but I am worried that will darker the room. It's already a fairly dark room (north facing, small cottage windows) but it is quite large, so I'm not sure if it would really be a problem - any thoughts?
So, if anyone with more decorative creativity than me has any ideas, I would really appreciate your advice and ideas. Also, if anyone has images of their child's space themed room, I'd also really appreciate seeing them.
