Ikea Stocksund Sofa

Does anyone have the Stocksund Sofa from IKEA. I'm just hesitating before I buy the two and three seater for my sitting room.

How have they worn? Do you find them comfortable? They seem slightly hard to sit on but size wise they are perfect for the room.

Thanks.

I have one, but it's only 9 months old. I like it a lot - seems to have worn fine and have had lots of positive comments. We looked at refurbish our 15yr old sofa with new covers and cushions but it would have cost over twice what the Ikea sofa did.

Thanks for the reply, I like the style of it a lot. Good to hear it has worn well so far. Do you find it okay comfort wise?

I have a two seater in my kitchen so quite light use. I find it comfy but I think it will wear quickly and the seat cushions flatten quickly. I'm not expecting it to survive more than a couple of years.

I have the three seater in grey and like it - bought it instead of a sofa bed in the end as it was more comfortable than the IKEA sofa bed options. I and my 3 guests who've slept on it find it fine! Also it folds up relatively easily so you can move it from room to room without a massive palava.

Ha, we obv didn't sleep on it all at the same time.

The cushions seemed quite flat in Ikea actually, it looked crumpled! Though maybe that is any sofa with removal covers.

It didn't feel super comfy when I sat on it comparing it to the plumper sofas but it's a balance of getting it to fit size wise in my room. Hence my hesitation.

Good to know it's good to sleep on though.

I find it perfectly comfortable. The relatively "thin" seat cushions make it look more delicate in proportion and stop it from swamping a small room.
