Do they exist? Would prefer them on an extendable rod or similar. Newly decorated room, waiting for shutters so need something for a few weeks. Thanks.

Blind in a box Amazon. Excellent and cheap.

I second the Gro anywhere black out blind. Attaches to the window with suckers. It's great to have for holidays too as adapts to fit most windows.

Another vote for the Gro blind! It's great.

Tin foil works wonderfully! But more for emergency situations...

Foil, if you can handle that in your window for that one. Better than any black out blind

Just buy a bit of black out material and shove it on a tension wire.
I just put black out material over top of roller blind

Magic black out blind is the same principle as foil but sticks to the static on the window. I'll buy myself some when I'm feeling flush as this tin foil is driving me potty!!!

Thanks everyone, i will have a look at them all.

Another vote for Blinds in a Box.

I use a gro blind on a tension rod so it's easy to open in the day. Take it away with us when we travel. Helps to weigh the bottom corners down too to keep light out.
