Help! I live in a white box!

We moved in 2.5 years ago, renovated and redocrated in 8 weeks and then had DS2 3 weeks after we finished. As I was v pregnant during the works we just had everything painted white with a view to adding personality later. 2.5 years on and it's still a white box!

I think I'm now afraid of colour and used to this plain look but the hallway and master bedroom need a reprint due to more internal works and I'm loathed to reach for the white paint again! Any ideas or tips to help me get braver?

Do you have any pictures you could share? Need to get a feel for size and aspect of the room to make any suggestions.

Go for a bold and beautiful wallpaper in the hallway! It's so cheerful to come home to/walk through, and because you don't spend masses of time there you won't get tired of it.

I don't know what your style is but we have a mostly white open plan. One wall is charcoal grey and we have bright print on that so there is good contrast. I then added colour with cushions - yellows etc
