Chalkboard for kids

Hi

Has anyone any tips on where I can buy a self adhesive chalkboard that works well, I have thought about chalkboard paint but have read bad reviews. Also I am renting so not sure if this is actually a good idea or not!

I found some on ebay and it works really well as a shopping list on a laminate kitchen cupboard... On a painted wall though? Not sure what would happen when you try to remove... Also, the chalk (if using colours) would go over the edge and stain the wall.

If you are allowed to screw holes into the wall perhaps it would be a bit less messy to put up a chalk board than self-adhesive

Not sure how easy to paint over.

You could buy a massive ribba frame from IKEA and paint the backing and hang that. That would eliminate going over to to wall as there would be a raised physical barrier.

Thanks guys I think I've given up on the idea sounds like a lot of mess!
