Rose gold floor standing taps

Hi

I'm having a new bathroom soon and have seen some gold floor standing taps to go with the free standing bath I want. They seem v expensive compared to chrome, so are they worth it???

Heritage seem to have some slightly cheaper in their Hemsby Rose Gold range - are their taps OK or a no, no?

Just fancied a change from chrome really! What would you recommend for a contemporary bathroom?

I would stick to chrome to be honest. They don't date. Plus you need to be careful not to get harsh cleaning products, including bleach or anything containing bleach, on gold finishes as it permanently marks them.

I was very tempted by a rose gold freestanding tap for my bath but went for chrome in the end too. I wouldn't compromise on my bath though- that's a copper colour and I love it!

Gold taps are a nightmare to keep clean and shiny. My mother has them and they look dreadful.
