Bed in front of radiator and under window??

Need help!
Does anyone have their bed under the window or in front of the radiator?

Picture shows current layout, as you can see bed is against wall and we have to include office space in bedroom so can't centre the bed in middle of room on wall opposite to wardrobe.

We're getting a new bed with smaller frame as current bed takes up so much room. But we've got a narrow bedroom with large built in wardrobes taking up most of one wall. I could put bed opposite wall to wardrobes but towards window end and that will only 20cm between bed and wardrobe which are sliding doors but not sure if this will look cramped.

other option is to have bed on window wall in front of radiator. It will be centred on the wall so will create symmetry and we can both have bedside tables! I was also thinking I could get long floaty curtains to frame the bed as well, as the window is almost same width as bed. So in my head looks very flowy and romantic but will radiator still heat up room and will it damage the wooden bed frame?

Please help.

I do. It's really nice sleeping by the window in the summer and the radiator in the winter. No damage to the bed that I've noticed. Probably depends on the type of wood/material used for the frame though.

Our bed is under the window. Our radiator is on an internal wall. I bought two wardrobes, knowing exactly where to put them in our new house except when I went up to the bedroom and saw that the radiator is on the oposite wall to tge window. I never even noticed when viewing the house! The breeze in summer is nice but it still feels wrong. I did have my bed against a radiator as a teenager and it was fine if I remember.

Yeah that's what I keep thinking it doesn't feel right but I suppose I'll never know if I don't try it. And it will give me the much craved centred bed.

We do and it works fine. We keep an inch of space between the radiator and the bed.

In a previous house we had this in Our daughters room. The radiator was off most of the time though as it got too hot to sleep next to it, but in mid winter on low. It's totally fine.

We did for 10 years at it was fine. Had blinds on the window and floaty curtains that we didn't close tied back on either side to frame it a bit (because they were never moved really they did gather a lot of dust!!). No damage to bed which is still going strong. Also left a bit of a gap between bed and radiator and kept the radiator at half heat.
