We have a small bathroom with white tiles around the bath - aqua balnco - getting the wall opposite tiled the same. We have black shiny lino floor.

Need a paint colour.

Really fancied a dark navy or teal after seeing pics on internet but these tend to be v stylised and i cant do that

Help.

We have a similar colour scheme as you describe on your tiles and floor.
Although neither dark navy nor teal; we chose F&B Cornfoth White modern emulsion and it's lovely - very calming (West facing).

You could perhaps have a look on Instagram for inspiration - there are loads of accounts where people are really into home decoration, restoration of old houses and / or choosing decor for their new-build houses. You'll need to create an account your own in order to browse other public images. Good luck!

Depends on your style I guess; however, once you've looked at one or two 'people' or 'tags' you will start to get suggestions for similar things which you may like, which will guide you from there. You'll get the hang of it quickly 😊. You can search for people or tags (plus a couple other options).
A few suggestions from me:- [search for people] - comedowntothewoods, fortheloveofallthingshome, thelittlegreyhome, making myhome etc.
There are so many different things you could possibly search for:-
[search for tags]- '#bathroom', #dulux, #farrowball, #littlegreen etc.

Ta Lashy. I have looked at some of the people and i like the first one. Her whole house encapsulates what i want in my vathroom.

I wish i had more style sometimes and a bigger house. Its hard when you have no money too though isnt it. Ive donw bits vut wish i had money to have it so me if that makes sense i feel even the bits ive done are a bit lacking somehow

This ist the problwm it makes me jealous which is a terrible thing

Try typing "Dulux [colour here] bathroom" into Google and lots of nice bathrooms come up.

Our bathroom is a nice calming griege (Crown Snowfall) with bright geometric patterned towels to jazz it up.

Dontflyjet2 · 27/06/2017 10:15

I'm doing my bathroom in Crown Bandstand. It's a very soft green that looks grey in some lights.

Be brave. I painted my downstairs loo in peacock jade, stone floor and white tongue and groove on the bottom half of the walls.

Makes me happy every time I sit in there and because it's a small room, you won't pay a fortune if you have to change it.

like my bathroom that should have been sage but came out seventies avocado

Oval Room blue by Farrow and Ball is a lovely colour that varies in different lights.

I always use this paint app for any painting in my house. You can pretty much guarantee what the paint will look like once its on the wall.

How about having a nosey on pinterest too? Millions of bathrooms on there, and if you click on one picture then below it will be other similar pictures, so just keep clicking on what you like.

Well it's done.... and i dont like it. It's grown on me but hated it at first. Wish I'd stuck to my guns. Not helped by the fact ive had to take the feel rails out while the work was being done and donr have anywhere properly to hang them but that's minor for now
