Lighting.....

Hi, we are mid extension and not far off first fix so need to make decisions on lighting....
Firstly has anyone seen a light like this one would love something similar over our island....
And secondly in the new bedroom (which is going to be a playroom and will become a boys den in the future, I'm currently planning 2 of these globe pendants (both black) . The ceiling is vaulted and an odd shape so the electrician is going to change the flex (to a bright colour) so they can sit at the same height. Are 2 going to look ok or will the shadows be annoying? I'm trying to avoid the standard pendant in the middle of the room look!

Strangely, we are just in the middle of choosing a hallway fitting and it's not dissimilar to the ones you have show. Not sure if they're any good or not but here's the link:

For the globes in the bedroom - I would consider using one that's a little different - a different planet and smaller to add interest? Only my thought!
