John Lewis voucher, what to buy?

DP just won a £100 John Lewis voucher at work and said we can spend it on something for the house. Am usually too much of a bargain hunter skinflint to shop there, so what should I get? I know the obvious answer is whatever I need, but surely a Tefal kettle is a Tefal kettle whether it's from argos or JL, so which items are really good quality and worth paying the premium for IFSWIM? We've just moved house, and whilst everything we have is fine, it could all do with upgrading at some point. Thanks in advance

Electrical things in JL often have an extra years guarantee. If you are doing up the house I would perhaps save it for a little while, they do have a sale in July so there might be something nice there. I usually buy my curtains from JL sale

Their clearance sale starts on the 22nd June.

Personally I quite like the peacock liberty print things they've just brought out, but it's definitely down to personal taste.

It's worth buying electricals there for the extended warranty.

Ooh didn't know they do sales, I'll definitely hold on until then. We could do with some new curtains so I'll start checking them out now in readiness, thanks both!
