Quote for re-decoration

Hi all
Please could you advise me if this quote is reasonable? Been quoted £5k to completely redecorate a large 2 bed apartment. Includes stripping woodchip from 2 rooms, putting up lining paper, painting, coving, al the usual stuff.

It's very hard to say without seeing the complete quote.

I would say though, definitely don't get one quote, you need at least three to compare. Don't necessarily choose the cheapest and check that the fir are qualified and have insurance. Google them for reviews.

Also, will they want some/all of the money up front? (Don't pay all up front!). Make sure you get A proper spec and that it's a job rate.

That sounds absolutely ridiculous! Buy the materials yourself and pay for the labour
