Blinds with dark wood window frames

I need to get some blinds or something for our lounge windows as i can't see the TV now the evenings are lighter Grin

Can anyone suggest what colour would go best with the mahogany coloured window frames and sill that we have?

The windows are really big and take up most of the longest wall in the lounge, and are south facing. The walls are light blue and the carpet is a bluey grey.

Thanks for any suggestions.

A place I always like to look at is Houzz - you can type in what you're looking for and it comes up with some fab pictures to look at. The prices they link to aren't' always cheap but once you have a make/design you can hunt around at least!

Thanks Zippyants, I'd given up on this thread!

I'm facing the same dilemma. I'd go for either wood in the same colour as the frames, or something neutral like creamto keep it bright and not it the room to one scheme.

Funnily enough Bluntness100 I'm just looking at mahogany coloured blinds online now. I think you're right. I'm going to have to decide between very dark or very light, but definitely not a colour other than dark wood or cream.

Decisions, decisions...

I might have to do some actual work whilst I think about it Smile
