What Colour Curtains?

Dining room, SE facing, oak engineered floor, Dulux Egyptian Cotton walls, white ceiling and woodwork, Bow window, house built in 1929.

I'm currently looking at these Orla Kiely curtains in either green or grey

What a lovely window! Those curtains are nice though very mid-century in design style. Have you thought about doing something art deco? Will the dining room be mainly used for entertaining? If it were me I would either do a straight art deco print, or something in velvet in a brown tone slightly darker or similar to the walls. The window has lots of detail so no harm in letting the curtains be quiet and letting the window be the star.

I need something like that in a paper grey. Has anyone seen some?
