Current colour is Farrow and ball Lulworth blue (I think) but it might be time for a change. It's a town house, somewhat contemporary.
Any suggestions for a nice colour please?

What colour facade?

We're in a red brick house and have a buttercup yellow front door. I love it!

i got a very dark blue - F & B cant remember the name. I like it.

I have a contemporary house, red brick. I'm toying with using F&B Railings or Off Black for the frame, with Blue Ground for the door.

What colour is your door frame?

Garlic, does it have a peacocky tinge? If so, it'll be Hague Blue, a lovely door colour IMO.

I think the brickwork is what's called yellow brick. Not quite as ugly as it sounds.

Other houses in our neighbourhood tend to be favouring a matte grey. Although many have a wood stain.

A house near me has yellow brick, they have a black door frame with the door in F&B Lichen or Vert de Terre. It looks lovely. Don't think it would have the impact with white frames though.

The house near me with the yellow brick looked very nice when it was undercoated. I'd say F&B Worsted or Plummet would be close to that.

Yellow brick would lead me to something greener than Lulworth Blue. Maybe Stone Blue or Chappell Green from Farrow & Ball or Teal from Paint and Paper Library if you're feeling bold.

Thanks all - I will have a good look at all these ideas.
(Zampa - I never feel bold Smile)

Arsey the door frame is currently painted the same as the door, in blue.

And what about the window frames? I'd be tempted with a yellow house to go green too, otherwise I'd worry it would be a bit pre-school.
