Radiator covers

Are they worth it? Where do you get them from? Do they have to be specially fitted by someone or can you buy them off the shelf?

You can buy them off the shelf. Depends on the sort whether they just fit over or are fixed to the wall. I don't like them, apart from providing a handy shelf they are a dust trap and absorb half the heat from the radiators ime.
