Any suggestions how to finish this?

I bought a second hand inframe kitchen for my new build holiday home for a great price and my carpenter is fitting it at the moment. There's a gap to be filled in to the left of the unit. Any thoughts on how to finish this off so that it doesn't look strange?

The unit on the left will be a tall press (cupboard) and the one on the right is the housing for the fridge freezer. At the other end of the run of units will be a built under oven and again there will be a small gap to infill and would appreciate any suggestions. I've been looking at it for too long - I bought the kitchen over a year ago- and I just can't think any more.

Enough space to put in wine rack type shelves?
