What colour is your lounge?

I'm going to decorate my lounge soon, am thinking of a sage green. Does anyone have this colour? I've had a green room (kitchen) before and didn't really like it but I think it was the shade that was wrong.

What colour is your lounge? Pics appreciated!

My living room is straight off the front door and has the stairway going up one side, so I've done that long wall (up the stairs) F&B Strong White ( v v pale grey). The short walls (if you're with me) are Habitat Olive, which is a warm buttery olive, rich but not dark. It's quite a retro, mid century colour. My doors are painted F&B Bone, which is a pale green grey.

This picture is mainly of a chair which I pulled out of a skip and repainted, but you can see the Bone colour on the left, Strong White in the middle and Olive on the right.

I love green. I think if I was painting a whole room green I might go for F&B Pigeon which is a beautiful green grey, or MIzzle which is a softer version (both are in this pic (inspiration.farrow-ball.com/itemdetails.aspx?id=1440&_ga=2.212873170.770678136.1493759825-565931397.1479134612)

Yellow and turquoise!

Ketzele · 02/05/2017 22:31

Ooh, I bet it's like summer every day at your place, AllRoads!

AllRoadsLeadBackToRadley · 02/05/2017 22:33

😂I love bright colors.

Mine is F&B pigeon. It's lovely. It is different in different lights. Darker corners you can see the grey in the green with the sun hitting it, it looks very green.

Ketzele · 02/05/2017 23:01

Pigeon is beautiful.

LooksBetterWithAFilter · 02/05/2017 23:14

It really is. The purchasing of said paint did involve a morning in Homebase with duh muttering 'we are not spending that much money on paint' quite a lot while I humoured him looking for a dupe until we left with the Pigeon Grin
I did look at the Mizzle as well glad I didn't now though. Theigeon looks quite light on the wall opposite the window and it's just right think the Mizzle might have been too light.

Fired earth, garnet green. Especially for drawing rooms, libraries and reception rooms, apparently.

I'm toying with the idea of a grey for a bedroom but I worry that it is so fashionable at the moment.

Living room is red here but back room (dining/misc) is a sage-ish green & I love it

Will post a pic on phone, hang on...

LapdanceShoeshine · 02/05/2017 23:32

Not sure this helps much (it's mainly a picture of a cat Grin)

It is a lovely colour though. Very restful

Thanks for the links - not sure I am brave enough for Pigeon but Mizzle looks lovely. It's a long room so a sun trap when the sun is in the right place but quite dark the rest of the time.

I love your cat Lap, and the walls are lovely - do you know what it is? I think I'm starting to go a bit green-blind.

Mizzle is great, and there's a paler version called Cromarty.

LapdanceShoeshine · 03/05/2017 14:51

Aw, thanks, Bliss. She is a poppet Smile

The paint was from Crown but I can't remember the name so not very helpful!

LapdanceShoeshine · 03/05/2017 14:53

Box Tree looks most like it but it wasn't called that. I bought it ages ago so it may have been discontinued.

Dulux Timeless on wall, parquet flooring and a purple rug.

My living room is currently stone by homebase, a little darker than natural hessian, but not too dark iykwim little Greene do some pretty sage greens, I had eau de nil in my kitchen which was a very soothing green.

TwoBeams · 03/05/2017 18:14

Ooh loving this thread. My lounge is currently Dulux heritage Dusted Cappuccino but I fancy a change.

MrsPringles · 03/05/2017 18:52

Light grey, pale yellow and white. And I bloody love it.
I would attach a pic but I'm in the bath Grin

F+B Hardwick White. It's a kind of greeny grey and I love it!
