Tiled bath panel or vinyl?

I like the look of floor tiles being continued up onto the bath panel but I want vinyl flooring. Could you do the same with sheet vinyl flooring? I'm thinking of going for fake Moroccan tile effect vinyl. Has anyone seen/done this? I'm not sure if it will work or not!

I can't find any pics of this online so maybe not!

I would much prefer a separate bath panel. I think you risk it looking like a 1970s DIY nightmare if you put vinyl sheet up the side of the bath.

I would never say never, but agree it is high risk.

I think it would have to be really well lined up so that it looked like real tiles (and really good quality lino) Plus I always worry about access under the bath when they are boxed in.

Bought a house that has this. not a great look. the vinyl at bottom of bath is a bit baggy.

Ooh, so you have a pic, or would that be outting?

I have my wall tiles around my bath if that's a possibility? It's lined up with the grout lines on the walls on a wooden panel that lifts off if we need access
