Thinking of moving my son into a double bed in what is currently out spare room. To give him more floor space for playing, I'd like to have it with one of the long edges to the wall. I can't have it right in a corner due to window, radiator and wardrobe locations so looking for ideas for:
- a headboard that maybe has shelves/storage and would look ok from both sides (i.e. not pushed up to a wall)
- some sort of storage chest to have at the foot end that is movable (perhaps lockable wheels?) - needs to be movable as the bed is one of the storage types with the flippy up base
Am I going to have to have something built bespoke or does anyone have any marvellous ideas?
