U shaped sofa

Not sure if this is the right spot but i need some pointers to places where i can get a compact u shaped sofa - I appreciate its going to have to be custom made/ modular and have found some sites but dont see how a sofa seat needs to be so big! Any ideas?

What size do you need exactly? I think it sounds like quite a challenge as a U shaped sofa needs to be big by definition.

I think the problem I am having is with the depth of the seat/seatback rather than the actual dimensions of the unit as a whole - for example you can easily find a small sofa that is below 80cm deep including seat and seatback, but I can only find corner/U sofas that are considerable deeper if that makes sense?

Ikea Norsborg is 88cm depth. That's the most compact I've seen. I think a very compact u shape sofa might look a bit odd.
