Are they tacky?

I ordered one (from Groupon), for a practical reason really, our house can be tricky to locate as we are but the ajoining house is no 1 of the next street. I also thought they looked smart and clean.

I haven't put it up yet but I'm now wondering if they are a bit naff. They seem to be everywhere. What do people think?

I've got one. I like it and it's the only one on our street.
As someone who has to drive around finding people's houses to do home visits for a living I'm very grateful for any kind of clear signage that'll help me find where I need to go. You'd be surprised how many people don't have house numbers on their properties which makes my working life a bit of a mare.

I have one and I really like it. I suppose it depends on the style of writing on it and the colours you have chosen. I went for a more modern look rather than fancy as that is the look I want for my house.

I'll fire up the drill then. Thanks for the reassurance!
