I struggle to find decent contemporary art / prints online and no time to go to galleries . Where do you find yours ? My preferred style is urban scenes, cityscapes, abstract art, photos , maps, scandi look and feel. Something a bit different but not way out there quirky!!
Thanks !

I've gone through etsy or local shops for the few bits I have, but I'm watching along too. I've started either favouriting on etsy or adding pieces to my amazon wishlist as I come across them, so I have some ideas if I'm ready to buy something.

I have one Flatowl print which I love: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/FLATOWL

And I also waited until the sales and bought one of these but then ended up paying twice as much in postage and customs (along with a fucking admin charge) as I paid for the actual print. Angry www.etsy.com/uk/listing/384771370/starry-night-in-ireland-print-from?ref=shop_home_active_20

One of my business fantasies involve setting up a print studio where I sell good quality prints from artists not in the UK so people can get gorgeous, affordable art without the fecking taxes.

I just realised you might not mean more entry-level prices. There are a few galleries local to me which I'd go to if I was to buy actual, grown-up art.

King and McGaw - was delighted when I discovered it.

Disclaimer: I know the artist! But it sounds like his work might fit your bill!

Art.co.uk - have bought a framed print that I love, they're always sending emails with discount codes if you sign up but the quantity on the website can feel quite overwhelming

A couple of my favourites have been one-offs that I happened to see at gift fairs etc. But that is very much a chance thing, a lucky coincidence that I was there and saw them.

Art finder is good

I'm on the auction sites such as easy auction so l buy from there. I'm aware of Louise Lawton who specialises in city-scapes you may like her stuff:

As my husband and I run an art business, we hang up all the stuff we haven't yet sold in our home. Most of our stuff is 19th century or from the first half the twentieth century though!

I've bought nice prints from the following recently:

Inaluxe: www.inaluxe.com
Jacky Al-Samarraie: www.theartrooms.co.uk
Jamie B Edwards: www.urbancolours.co.uk

London Transport Museum Shop has loads of interesting old transport posters: www.ltmuseumshop.co.uk/posters

Also second Shesaysso recommendation of King and McGaw.
