Decorate my room, open to all ideas.

Our room is a good size 5.5m x 5m so although not quite square very easy to work with. It is a blank canvas magnolia walls and white celling. We need everything apart from a bed, we have a soild wood bed from M&S in white so really easy to match things to. We have to 3.5ft windows along the back wall, both have radiators underneath. I am open to all ideas, colours and patterns the only thing I think I have decided on is I would like carpet in there and not wood just for noise reduction in the room below.

Is that where your main clothes storage will be too? I'd possibly start by working out how much storage you need and how you can best fit that in.
Is there any other purpose the room must fill? Do you definitely want a tv? Definitely not?
I am terrible at picturing sizes so I can't tell if you'd have easy space for built-ins or if standalone would be better.
Do you normally have quite a bold style? Or a toned-down one?
I'd suggest getting on pinterest and pinning loads of images, everything that you quite like. Then take a break and go back and work out what you like about the images, whether they have anything in common.

Yes I would go on pinter estate too. I really like the blush, copper and grey or navy that are on there at the minute.

Clearly that should be pinterest not pinter estate!
