Installing Wood Paneling

I'd like to put up wood paneling behind our bed, and paint it petrol blue. Has anyone done this? Was it easy to fit? Any tips?

Here's a pic of the style I'm looking at.

There are lots of tutorials online. I think it would be pretty easy. My tips are measure twice and cut once! And hire a chop saw from a tool hire place if you don't have one.

This is the paneling DH put up in our lounge. It was fairly easy, but DH is very good at DIY etc.

You need to plan it well and build a frame to attach it to. Insulating behind it is worth doing. Agree with hiring a decent crosscut saw and measuring twice.

If your walls are flat then simply tack and stick in the divider strips and tops and bottom pieces - B&Q cut MDF to size for you - so do the maths first and plot what you need and then ask them to cut the parts from 1220x2440 sheets - have done this a few times - works like a dream !
