I've picked this wallpaper. It's nice right?

I'm losing it. Had to pick 8 wallpapers really quite quickly and I've picked this for my office/craft space/occasional dining room.

I'm completely second guessing myself as it's so heavily patterned. But I love the pattern.

maybe if it was on one wall only as a feature - with plain coloured wallpaper or painted walls on the others. Your room may look very busy with such a detailed pattern otherwise, esp once you fill your room again with your furniture & crafty stuff

Painting one of the walls the deep blue of the wallpaper print could look nice

It's going on 2 walls. The fireplace and nooks, which has a big fireplace and floating shelves. And the wall with the (big) windows.

The other two walls are being painted in dark blue, but you will only see around the outside about a foot as there are two giant white wardrobes going on those walls.

So it will be a predominantly white room.

I love it. maybe because I used to live near Hampstead and it makes me a bit homesick

This the blue I putting on the walls, it's the one little Greene says complements it.

I know, I love Hampstead too. The style of the houses in Hampstead are very like the style of the houses around me so I think it will look ok.

Ok, you're all great. Don't feel so tense now even though I've been up since 4am thinking about house stuff.

I've picked heavily patterned wallpaper for every room but the ceilings are ten foot high, 20 in the Hall so hopefully it won't look mad.

The person before painted every room a vinyl SILK apple white (pale pink). The decorator who I've got to hang the wallpaper said he hadn't seen vinyl silk on a wall for years.

I really like it it's lovely, but would it go better with white walls instead of blue?

It's a big room (18 by 13), with massive ceilings that are white and 12 inch white skirting. So I think it can take the blue.
