Would I be crazy to paint my entire sitting room blue?

It's currently cream. Brown carpet, brown sofas, orange curtains and rug. Maybe I should just have a feature wall but then I read that's dated??

If you live near a johnsons or crown painting centre they will colour match f&b paint for you. I've had it done twice now; the colours are beautiful and the paint quality in my opinion is much better.

Our living room is teal. It looks lovely. Ours is dulux heritage sky blue and looks like this (not a photo of our living room).

The heritage blue verditer is a more bluey teal.

We did my son's room a similar colour dulux striking cyan looks good but needs retouching now and then as its a teenager's room really nice shade though

Blue is a very cold colour - there is none in my home. Don't forget that in the middle of winter you might want to feel a bit more cozy.

My hall stairs and landing is blue as is my bedroom and the lounge diner.

Its not cold as its paired with warm accessories , brass /taupes /warm wood /warm cream.

We've got some Marine Blue in one room - it's gorgeous but very dark. I'm going for this in our bedroom though - Inchyra blue but mixed elsewhere.

Love this - our whole house is sky blue except our bedroom which is deep green. Vanish off whites forever I say!

We have a sitting room painted exactly the colour in your first post OP. As I was painting it, I panicked a bit as it seemed so dark, but it's lovely now it's done.

We had a similar blue to the one in your original post, on a big wall in the livingroom where we lived before two other walls had a lovely wallpaper. There wasn't quite a fourth wall, as it was open plan with kitchen in one area.

I adored it, miss it like mad. We now live in a white on white on white flat.

It is Camborne from the Albany Traditions range, OldBirdy. We are really pleased with it.

My DSs' bedroom is crown teal touch. A bluey teal, but not cold at all. It is a very bright, S facing room with a bay window.

I would go for it too.. Very easy to change and it will look very luxurious !!
