The F&B paint colour, not on DFamily!
After 9 years in bland, rented accommodation, we're enjoying planning colour schemes for new house. Want something bright, dramatic and uplifting for hallway, but that we're not going to regret after two months!
Would love to see photos or hear of successes/failures with this or other bright but liveable colours.
(Anything but grey!)

Well this thread is a lot less exciting than I was hoping! Grin

There's loads of images online and on the F&B website.

I also like Churlish Green, Vardo, India Yellow and Charlotte's Locks.

My friend has a hallway painted in arsenic, it looks stunning as it contrasts gorgeously with the old wooden floor. I'm very envious. I think it works in her hall as she has a lovely victorian door with window panels either side so the hallway has plenty of natural light which brings the colour alive. I think if it is in a dark hallway it could look a bit gloomy.

Thanks sealsong it's a modern house, but the hallway is quite light with glass panels beside the door, so it could work.

dorcas I'd been looking at Vardo, too. Such a gorgeous colour, but not sure where to use it - will check out the other suggestions.

I have arsenic in my bedroom. It's a gorgeous colour. Painted it about 4 years ago & still love it.
