Where is good for buying curtains?

I'm looking for curtains for Daniel's room.
I had a look online and it said to find out what width curtains you need you should measure the window, then add 12-16 inches. So the window itself is 40 inches, plus the 12-16 inches, makes it 52-56 inches. So I need 52-56 inches wide, by minimum 75 inches drop. Anyone know anywhere? (I found lovely ones in Argos but they are too short).

Argos are not great for curtains. Very thin and see through.

Dunhelm mill is where I get mine

John Lewis?

And I think twice as wide as window looks better, more folds when closed and more volume of material.

Yes I agree Dunelm or John Lewis but check to get the correct tops for your curtain pole especially in Dunelm as they often offer a choice for the same design. Obviously I am speaking from experience!

Next are surprisingly good for curtains, well made, nice designs and fair cost!!

Dunelm or B&Q.
You could also try The Range.
