Neutral to compliment lime green?

DS's favourite colour is green. Had a look at colours yesterday and he basically wants his room bright green. I'm not a fan of green but its his room. I've seen rooms done with feature walls in bright green and am wondering if I could do similar. He has an IKEA wardrobe with lime green doors. The rest of his furniture is pine in various shades.

What neutral would be best just white? Or grey. Other DS has just walnut in his room which I like. Any help appreciated.

An offwhite can look quite fresh. Something like the standard Dulux Jasmine White goes with green but has just enough cream in it to avoid looking stark. Alternatively, for something dramatic, what about a slatey grey?

Farrow and ball skimming stone or any taupe based colour goes with lime

Grey and lime look great together

Yes, I'd look at the F&B taupey off whites - shaded white or shadow white?

Or grey.

Thanks very much. That's given me some ideas and colours I like the look of.

Grey is my fave with lime but a warm stone white might also be nice
