Wooden Venetian blinds

We are after white wooden Venetian blinds for a few Windows. Does anyone have any advice for where to get them from? Not many places have them on display and it's hard to tell the quality from a picture. We are after the wide slat (50mm) ones.

I've had a number of blinds exactly like this from web blinds. You get them made to measure and they are usually on an offer or sorts.
I've gone with the faux wood ones which look as good and don't have the taping running down the edge.

They sell 38, 50 and 65mm slatted ones.

A lot of bespoke wooden Venetian sellers (online) will send you a slat sample so you can get a feel for the colour and quality.

Wilson's Blinds online are absolutely brilliant. They do real wood, but have personally bought the faux wood ones, which are a bit more durable and look like wood anyway.

I have white wood (bedrooms) and white faux wood (kitchen) from: www.blinds-2go.co.uk

It is hard to tell the difference between the wood and faux when looking, but the weight when handling them is different, with the faux much lighter. They send samples. I found them to be very good and would recommend.
