I was wondering if a cast iron bed frame would look nice with it? Typical wooden frames I think would be too bland & possibly bulky.

we have an existing case iron bed that's had six years of children co sleeping in it, DH wants a fresh start.

I'm getting stuck on an upholstered bed frame, based on the fact that we have cats who might sharpen their claws on it.

we just got a double from oak furniture land and we love it! so much better quality than our previous groupon purchases!!

Have you looked at Warren Evans? Ours is v.comfy. Nice simple wooden frames.

just bought an oak sleight bed , love it but I'm not sure more wood would clash with your floor.

Have you thought about a painted wood bed ?

Good thing about a painted headboard is that you can easily change colours.

we went upholstered, will have to use strong citrus smelling candles to deter cats from bedroom (it'll be worth it right???)
