Cupboards to go above bed

With DC1 on the way I've decided that our clothes can no longer overflow into the spare room! We really can't fit another chest of drawers in our room and DH can't throw
anything else out even though I'm sure he wears the same 10 items of clothing all the time I think cupboards over the bed will be the best option.

Has anyone done this? Did it work well? Are you glad you did it? We have a Victorian flat with high ceilings if that makes any difference.

If anyone can reccomend any cupboards / storage systems that will work I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

Oh man - how would you sleep with all that clutter actually on top of you! Put some under thr bed if you must, but isn't it time to accept that you have rather too much stuff. Or your dh does.

God, that just takes me back the 70's/80's like these

After some research I was thinking more along the lines of this - we have high ceilings so it will work - def don't want one of those 70s cabinets!
