I have no idea how to pull a room together and need help! We have grey sofas and grey and white cushions and a white mantlepiece. Sort of scandi ish look but all a bit messy. The room is west facing and is Victorian with high ceilings etc. Any ideas?? Thanks

We have had white and now grey sofas and have Farrow and Ball Cornforth White. It looks different according to light and colours in the room. It's lovely tho, and quite warm despite being a big open plan room. Definitely not too grey as we have dark grey curtains too! (And a feature wall a different brighter colour)

Too much of a wuss to out myself if I post any pics! I am now googling all farrow and ball colours on Pinterest with the idea of colour matching at b & q. Pale grey is a good sofa colour as I can see it goes with lots of things.

I've got a grey sofa in my kitchen/living area, the walls are white with a couple of walls in Theresa's Green by Farrowa and Ball.

I've got grey sofas. My walls are...um....grey. And the carpet is grey. I have silver painted furniture, and plum accessories.

And the odd bit of white.

Grey goes with everything pretty much.

Haha...just had a proper read of the thread and I'm another one replacing chocolate brown leather!

I will have to tell DD that my choice of decor is 'on fleek' she will be more horrified by my vocab than the choice of grey sofas Grin

I have grey sofas. Our walls are in Habitat Olive (a warm buttery green) with the fourth wall (that continues up the stairs) in F&B Strong White (very pale grey). Accents (cushions etc) are mustard and burnt orange. We have a wooden floor with a black and white striped rug.

I have Dulux timeless wall with my light grey sofa.

Curtains are neutral background with a mustard and duck egg blue ish pattern

Petrol blueish throw over part of the neutral chair with a mustard cushion on

Cushions on sofa are darker grey, duck egg blue and mustard

The room feels light, airy and calm

I have another small, slightly darker grey sofa in a different room with neutral walls and plum shades/textures furnishing accents

Could you cope with neutral walks and add your liked colours through your furnishings?

We colour matched F&B for an upstairs room and it's still lovely but definitely a slightly different colour; a bit darker and doesn't catch the light

can you screenshot a picture from the shops website instead?

I am nosey but only because I have a grey habitat sofa and I want some ideas!

Blush pink and sand pink (slightly warmer/more coral but still light) goes really well with most greys.

I need to know too. I am absolutely rubbish at this sort of thing. Mine are a very dark charcoal grey from IKEA.

Our sofas are charcoal grey and we have 2 pale grey walls and yellow accents. Was a a struggle to find much a couple of years ago when we did the room but lots of yellow around now. Some lovely bits in next at the mo

It's part of the suite, 3seater with chaise at one end and a big chair. From SofaWorld (I think, slept since then Wink)

Jealous of all the lovely grey sofas.
I've recently just bought a dark brown, leather and child proof sofa.

Anyway, I'd go for duck
egg and some yellow and duck egg cushions.

This is the sofa we have from Bemz so it is quite light. I am realising reading these threads that I probably do need to match things more to pull it all together. I like the idea of neutral walls too and maybe I need to add colour with the blinds and cushions. I do like the grey and white cushions though. No idea why I find living rooms so tricky!

We have F&B Churlish Green - which I love for the name alone. Quite a strong colour so not one for the whole room, but sofa looks great against it and we have F&B Purbeck Stone on the facing wall which is a gorgeous grey. Love F&B as the colours really seem to change according the light.

We have Natural Hessian (Dulux) next to doors which are a kind of pale french grey. Kind of warm coordinating neutrals feel. It went on lovely as well.

Definitely a pale dusky blush. Almost a bit like dried plaster.

If you want a lilac grey I used dulux potters clay...I can't remember if it was 2 or 3. It didn't work for me as I wanted a colder grey but it might be one to work for you. And when I say doesn't work...I was initially disappointed it wasn't more grey and has in fact grown on me!

You want dusky pal colours, duck egg, lilac etc.

But you should also consider jewel colours, deep ones, aubergine, dark turquoise and those sorts of colours.

Hmmm, with that sofa I'm wondering about Dulux Dusted Moss? It comes in different strengths, and is a beautiful pearly grey with just a hint of green. You could then accessorise with either dusky pink and gold, or teal and mustard, or plum and charcoal.
