Chimney breast no fireplace

We have a chimney breast in our living room but no fireplace in it. Am considering a fireplace but was wondering if anyone had any other decoration ideas? Worried it looks a little odd with nothing there...

I have two fireplaces in my living room, one has a fireplace and the other has a tallish thin table against it.

I've just looked, they call them console tables.

I added storage space to end of mine to house Sky, PS3, router etc and stuck TV and soundbar on it...pic not finished article but gives you an idea.
