Please help with kitchen colours (again) photos included

Just got my kitchen finished, had wall knocked down do its a nice big space. I'm just clueless about what colour to paint it, what to do re. Splash back for cooker and blind etc.
it's a bit of a blank canvas. What colours would work?

Also stools too. I'm really not very good at choosing colours

A sage green with white or clear glass splash backs

Stools would go for some rustic wood top ones

I would just find a nice off white/cream colour (not magnolia!!) and maybe one wall in an olive green, then green blind and a couple of green accessories

What way do the Windows face, check out different colours based on north, east, south or west facing. That might be a good starting point. Maybe go for a muted grey, green or cream as a base and add colour with tea towels, blinds and accessories. Stools either wood as was mentioned or steel with a coloured fabric to match blinds.

It's south facing so v sunny.

And yes to wall shelves, ikea have lovely ones that have hooks inherited neath where you can hand decorative utensils from

I love a clean simple look

When you get tester pots, paint it on card then blu tack them up.

You can still see paint samples under three coats of paint in our kitchen.

We have elephants breath in our kitchen, with pelt on a mirror and bright purple glass tiles from fired earth going up in January.

We have a light grey combined with French Gray (grey-ish green) which works really well. Combined with rustic woods and whites.

I also really love Stiffkey Blue in this style of kitchen, but I'm not sure if it would be a bit overpowering in your kitchen as both walls are quite large for a bold colour.

Perhaps a similar colour in a roman blind?

What colour are the door fronts? Could you post photos in natural light too?

I think white would be meh, and I agree with NoCapes that grey wouldn't work. It looks quite warm with the wooden worktops, and the door fronts look like a stone colour in the photos, so I'd be going more for mushroom/taupe colours. Or Natural Hessian? We have that in our kitchen and it's lovely.

If the door fronts are actually white, then all the more reason to avoid white walls.

Love the idea of blue, stiff key is a gorgeous colour, my friend has it. It's quite dark though.

We have stiffkey in our bedroom, with a light grey, but it's a large space which doesn't make it feel so dark. It can feel quite dark in the wrong space, but I think you have the benefit of lots of lights in a kitchen (under cupboards, that kind of thing) rather than just the one ceiling light as in other rooms.

I would have liked it in our kitchen, but we haven't replaced it since we moved in and it has horrible cherry wood worktops. We've stuck with the French Gray and light grey for now to brighten it up, but I've had navy blue accessories which works well actually. (Tea towels, that sort of thing)

Google "stone kitchen, oak worktops" and hit images, see what catches your eye.

I love bold, dark, bright colours but there not for everyone.

You can get polycarbonate splashback now. Or mirrored.

Fired earth do some lovely misty coloured glass tiles.
