Quality white cotton thick bedspread, where to buy ?

As a treat to myself for Christmas I want to buy a lovely thick white cotton bedspread ( though that word sounds horrible and old-fashioned and I'm sure there's a better name for one ). I plan for it to last for years, so happy to spend a bit.
We are a two quilts on the bed family ( life saver - his ), and I'd like to cover them up and have a nice looking bed.
I just want to sigh with delight at it's loveliness when I make the bed, and at night when I pull it out of the way so my grubby husband doesn't go anywhere near it.

Try TK Maxx? they generally have a variety of bed coverings

5 years ago I got one from Dorma, from Dunelm and it's like new despite abuse by 3 people and 2 cats.

I actually got a fabulous thick cotton set from Primark a few years ago. It's still going strong!

Avoid Scion Living bedding. It's pricey and in my experience it fades and wears out very quickly. Not worth the money IMO.

Zara has lots of white bedding

I vote White Company as well.

Soak and Sleep have some lovely bedspreads and quilts...
