I never did any re-decoration and really stuck with ideas and dread to do something wrong and costly. Our DD room is really need update. The room is quite small (3.9m x 1.9 m), north-faced with one window. DD likes purple and lavender colours but I'm afraid it would look too cold on walls. I was thinking more about peach-terracotta or dusty pink colours. could you please direct me what Dulux colours shall we try to get warm but not dark shades.

Really like the idea of canopy and perhaps it is not that difficult to do ourself - could anyone suggest where to but the fabric?
