Suggestions as to what to put up at these windows/doors?

Hi. I have attached a couple of photos to this. In our flat we have two sets of doors - one big set with windows and another smaller set with a Juliet balcony.

Has anyone got any ideas what I can put up at these doors/windows which will ideally not block out too much light. Ideally I think we want curtains but open to other suggestions. One consideration is that on the big doors and window there may be need to open one door at night to get out on the balcony? Thanks very much.

I'd defo go for curtains. What is your budget and what is the style of the room you are going for? For light and privacy voile is the way to go but they can look a bit 'orphan' or unfinished without thicker curtains so in place where I need privacy I use a duo/double pole for both voile and thicker curtains. Laura Ashley, HoF and JL offer great services on curtains and I picked some right bargains from Dunelm, especially their Dorma range. If you live in London or surrounding area there are a few excellent curtain warehouses.
