Painting walls and ceiling in Dulux timeless?
Wisewisewords · 20/11/2016 19:40
I've only ever used white on the ceiling, then a colour on the wall. I like the look of Dulux timeless to use throughout the house, and I'm thinking of using it on the ceiling as well as the walls. Has anyone ever done this? Did they prefer it to brilliant white on the ceiling? Does brilliant white even go with timeless as a colour?
Anyone's views very much appreciated.

I've got timeless on my living room walls and bright white on the ceiling. You can barely tell unless its bright daylight. It's very subtle.

I think I'd only ever use white on ceilings to keep the open airy feel though.

I did my utility room in scrubbable Timeless and did the ceiling in it as well, mainly because I couldn't be arsed cutting in / swapping paints. It looks fine to me but it's not a room I spend a lot of time in!

It is the ease of painting that I'm thinking about tbh. It is so much quicker to not have to wait for the ceiling to dry to paint the walls. Might do our utility room first and see what it looks like moreshit, rather than starting on one of the main rooms. Good idea. Thanks all.

I have it on my walls and ceilings. You really wouldn't tell the difference!

Do it, you'd be hard pressed to tell it's not pure brilliant white unless next to it. Plus it's sooo much quicker.
(I've painted ceilings the same colour as the walls and they aren't remotely near white)
