Stuck with red carpet

Stuck with red carpet in our bedroom.

3 walls are white one wall has Disney wallpaper (room swap situation)

Don't have the money for new carpet and it's still in excellent condition.

What colour for the walls?
P.S I can't stand wallpaper.

I would stick to something very neutral, a soft cream or pale grey. Then you can add pictures or accessories for detail

Just pretend you're arriving at the Oscars

Pale gold looks lovely with red.
I know gold makes people think glitzy and shiney but it's not like that at all.

Pale grey or white would be my suggestion

Can uou not buy a big rug? You can get them really cheaply now, someone like irugs, and cover most of it up. I had a house years ago, bought it off a Celtic football player (we were in Scotland) and I swear to god the carpet throughout was bright Celtic green, I put big cream rugs down and it really changed the look and feel of the place.

Also you'd be surprised st how cheap carpet can be, might be worth getting a quote.

I'm liking the idea of pale gold.

Could replace the carpet if we were desperate but it is only a couple years old and looks as good as new!

We have now taken the smallest bedroom in the house it does comfortable fit our bed and furniture not a whole lot of space left for rugs though.

Thanks for the suggestions Grin

Elephants breath looks good with red.

Dulux Egyptian Cotton or Natural Hessian?

Is it a warm orange toned red or more of a blue based crimson?
And it is an old or modern house?
