Anyone with green sitting room walls?

I am toying with painting my sitting room a light warmish (not mint) green. I have attached colour cards from Dulux and am considering English Mist or Tuscan Glade 4/5. I'd love your thoughts on them.

A few months ago I thought I really wanted duckegg blue, posted here and went off and painted the sitting room.

I really dislike the colour. I have reclaimed pitch pine flooring which is just too orange with the pale blue. I also have DS's so it just reminds me of their bedrooms.

If I get my arse in gear I would love to get the ladder and brushes out before Christmas. Room has North East facing window and neutral furnishings and fireplace.

The greyer English mist would probably neutralise the orange in your floors more than the other one. Can you get tester pots?

Green in a colour that is very difficult to get right, in my bitter experience. Choose a shade that has less green pigment in it than you would think, is my advice.

I have a colour called Spring sage in my living room. Oak laminate flooring. The room is south facing and it looks lovely and bright when sunny but even when grey and miserable it doesn't look cold. I really love it. Probably closest to the Tuscan 5 on your cards but brighter.

One wall was painted this colour when we moved in. I hate it but can't decide what to change it to yet.

The Tuscan doesn't seem very warm to me (may be my screen), and what looks lovely in paleontologist's sitting room which is south facing could look v different in yours which is NE facing. Something sludgy or olivey might work better and be warmer.

I've gone for little green company olive72. It's brilliantly dark, offset with white woodwork and oak floors. Other colours look beautiful with it, so fabric, sofa, cushions, painting etc really look lovely against this dark neutral back drop.

Not sure about softer greens tho.
Minty meh imho.

I've had F&B bone in 3 houses, which is a soft, warm, neutral green.

I used LAURA Ashley's eat de nil, which is duck egg but on the green side rather than blue if that makes sense for the living room. I painted the bedroom in the duck egg blue and it's defo very different from the eau de nil.

If you don't like the duck egg as it's because it's too blue, and like green, eau de nil might work well for you.

I have used celtic forest in a couple of rooms. It is quite a grey green - I really like it.

Also wondering if eau de nil would work. We have it in a south facing room. The sun seems to make it paler and then on a miserable day it feels like there's some colour on the walls and doesn't feel cold. Is there any way you could add a rustic wash to the flooring? Is what we've done to our pine picture rails, skirtings, window surrounds and door. I really like the effect.

I have a copy (valspar ) of f&b pale powder, it honestly goes with anything. It looks green but has a little grey in it, very neutral and light.

I had F and B Blue Grey, which is actually green, in an old house (dual aspect room, North and South) and loved it. Duluth Jungle Drums is similar

I used crown heritage flagon in previous house. It's much nicer looking in real life, very calming. Although that might just be the effect of the room free from all my usual clutter.

Thank you so much for your replies. I got my hands on a few testers and the attached photo is the result. The last colour is supposedly a neutral beige colour (looks a bit pink to me).

We have used Dulux Highland Falls in one house and have just used Breakfsst Room Green and Calke Green (F&B) in this house. I have posted a picture on my own thread asking for sofa fabric advice. I love warm green!!

We've got Laura Ashley Pale Apple. It's lovely. Warmed up with red amongst the soft furnishings and curtains.

I wanted a green living room but could not find a match to my idea so mixed it up from several sample pots and got a big tin made up from the Dulux counter in homebase. It was quite dark and sludgy and I adored it.

I have green in most of my rooms! It's my favourite room colour. Mostly greyish shades of green. Lovely and warm and neutral so anything goes.
I like English mist 4 from your pic. From your testers i like the second from the top. The sort of mustardy colour. Looks warm and neutral. Top one is too minty for me, others are to wishy washy imo. But it's such a personal thing what one person loves another loathes! Maybe find some rooms on pintrest you like and we can help match the colours?

We had Ancient Artefact in a sitting room, Dulux Classics I think, will try to find a photo.

this was lovely, I would use the colour again. It was very warm, sometimes greener than others and went really well with grey/neutrals.
