Nice wet wall panels - does such a thing exist?

We're renovating our shower room. It's very small: single shower & vanity unit with toilet & sink. The guy that's doing it has recommended wet wall panels for the shower. Not sure about this.

Should we tile the whole lot? I imagine this will be expensive and a bugger to clean. Also, it might be cold too. Therefore wetwall would seem the wise move.

I loath wetwall though and the examples I've seen are either mock marble or sparkly. Neither are really my thing.

Anyone seen any nice panels?

Ours are lovely - matt grey and slightly speckly. Here. So easy to keep clean, and installed in minutes.

The shiny/glass ones look lovely at first but darker colours show watermarks badly - this put us off. And I hate fake marble.

I had some fitted in our shower about 10 years ago, which are neither mock marble nor sparkly - they are fantastic - no grout to keep clean. They look great still.
this year we had the main bathroom done and have gone for panels again - once again neither sparkly nor marble. I'll see if I can find any paperwork from what company they are. I know where we ordered them from but that's a small, local independent merchant.
However, ALL the places we looked had lots of choice - the Wickes, the Homebase etc as well as independent bathroom sales places.

We have wall panels, but they are large tile effect, laid on the walls horizontal rather than vertically- they look just like tiles even with grout effect, but are to simple to keep clean and look great !

We've had mermaid board for the last 10 years. Incredibly easy to clean and still looks great. We're about to redo the bathroom and will put it in again.

I've got Almond Shimmer by Showerwall. Despite the name there's barely any sparkle and they look good. They're matt and slightly rough so don't look as plastic as the others. I'm really pleased after constantly cracking and stained grout in tiles.

I've seen the reco ones at a trade show and they look surprising realistic when they are up.

We have grey slate - wouldn't go back to tiles manky grout

I'm place marking. Some of these look really nice and the thought of no grout would make me very happy.

I'm not sure I have the aversion to sparklyness that some of you have though .

The grey stone one with tiny flecks look really good.

Respatex in grey concrete look. We had it fitted a couple of years ago and I still love it. Some of the others they do are pretty hideous, mind.
