Help with Kitchen Wall Colour

Hi,

I wonder if anybody would be able to help before I drive myself mad.

We are finally getting round to painting our kitchen from magnolia. It's a large kitchen / family room - the colour of the kitchen doors is called Legno Kashmir which I would call a taupe/grey. It looks grey until you put grey next to it then it makes them look sort of brown.

The original idea was to paint Little Green's French Grey in the lighter shade but the units make it look too blue.

I've tried so many colours my walls look like i'm going for the patchwork look! At the moment Duluxe Just Walnut looks good but I'm worrying it'll look too samey.

I am having blinds made in Harlequin Takara fabrics in Indigo / Denim

I'd post a photo but don't seem to have the option.

I would go for a completely different colour - what about a light aqua marine? Looks lovely with neutrals and would also set off your indigo blinds.
