Blackboard paint or not?

Hey, super indecisive. Blackboard paint door?

Do it! I've had large blackboard walls in my last two kitchens, they're great and I don't think they make the room dark at all. But blackboard paint is quite messy to apply and really difficult to paint over if you ever want to get rid of it, so maybe since it's a relatively small area (and you're not 110% sure about it) you could try the self adhesive blackboard-on-a-roll stuff? It peels off if you hate it, and it's quick and clean to apply. We have it on the back of my daughter's door and it works fine for writing/drawing on, and you can't tell it's not a 'real' blackboard unless you're really close to it.
