IKEA velvet curtains, any hem?

I am thinking of getting some of these Sanela curtains but would like to change the heading as am not keen on eyelets, but I do need the 3m drop.

Does anyone have a pair and if so please could you check for me if there is any hem on them so they could be let down?

Pretty sure they do, if they're still the same - we spent several tedious hours a few years ago unpicking all the hems (and cutting off the eyelets) before remaking them as "proper" lined full-length pencil pleat curtains. Can't remember how big the hem was, I'm afraid, but think our drop is about 280cm.

Thanks Phalarope, that was what I was planning to do, or asking my friendly local tailor to do it for me!
How do yours look having been altered? I was planning on getting the IKEA lining too.

They look great! The velvet is fairly thin but looks fine with lining behind it. They look far more expensive than they really are.
