where to get lovely lampshades?

Looking for lampshade shop recommendations please. DH has vetoed my faves as they are £80 a pop so needs to be cheaper than that. Looking for something with a lovely bright pattern that tones with our mid-blue ticking blinds. Not keen on the Orla K-type patterns but otherwise open-minded. Particularly like florals - big or Liberty-print-style.

PS we need 2 40cm ones, which rules out some lovely ones I've found on Etsy

Have you looked in TKMaxx/ Homesense? We got all of ours from there. Stock does vary from store to store, but worth having a look if you have one near you.

Try eBay. I got a nice shade made in Laura Ashley fabric for the nursery for about £18 instead. There are actually lots of fabric brands on eBay.

Laura Ashley do made to measure shades with a wide choice of fabrics. They are pricey but not as pricey as £80!
