Hi all.
We're decorating our downstairs living room and dining room - they are separate rooms with glass french doors between them, so I'd like them to co-ordinate. Rooms are averaged sized, the dining room is south facing and the living room is north facing. All woodwork is white, the living room has oak-stained floorboards and the dining room has a fairly battered but very lovely victorian tiled floor in a terracotta and cream checkerboard pattern.
For the front room, we were thinking a light grey. We have a brown leather chesterfield, a dark teal two seater sofa and a dark grey armchair. For the back room, we were thinking something bluey - stiffkey blue, perhaps, to bring out the terracotta but co-ordinate with the front room.
Does this sound okay?
