Short Windows, short curtains or Roman blind?

Hey ladies

I just generally dislike short curtains on short Windows. All the windows in our house are short and wide, and I've put long curtains on them. However, our daughters new bedroom (in an extension) has a funny layout meaning the bed has go go directly under the window, so can't put long curtains on it.

First world problems completely but do I just put up with short curtains on this window, or get a nice Roman blind instead?

Blinds. Fabric. Similar colour to the walls. Melt them in background.

Blinds X

Another vote for a blind

Roman blind. I have just had one made up for a funny shaped window and I love it. It feels quite elegant,
