Hi,
I love Farrow and Ball Stiffkey - dark blue, but I just can't afford it. Despite it being just for the alcoves next to our chimney breast. Has anyone found a blue of a similar colour but cheaper brand?
Thanks

Maybe have a look at the Dulux Diamond range? They are a bit cheaper..

Take the little square of that colour off the F&B chart to the paint mixing desk at your local DIY place. I've used Brewers to mix us some F&B colours and they've been great, chaps behind the counter refer to it as their 'cannon & ball' range! Hush hush!
Bought 15 litres for the MIL's hall/stiars/landing, F&B would have been over £200 Inc vat, think we spent just over £100 and it looks fab. Smile

Little Greene do one called something like Deep Space, I think that might be a bit cheaper and lovely colour.

Thanks guys.
I've tried the colour matches and they've all come back and said they don't have a good match!
I'll take a look at that one. X

That's weird for the paint matchers to say they have no match. They don't just give you a close match from their own range, they literally plug the name and brand into the computer and get a colour code for their mixing machine which gives the right colour.

Go to a trade paint place.

Go to Leyland/Johnstone's - they'll do it.

Agree with Johnson's, they plug the code straight into the machine.
Ours have F&B & Little Greene charts with their codes written on.
