Spare room ideas

I'd love your suggestions on what to do with a small spare room downstairs. In two years of living in the house we barely go in there and it seems such a waste of space.

Have any of you got rooms that are used for something interesting? It's roughly 8x14ft.

This is the top corner of the room that is currently just used for storage. Excuse the mess, DP just dumped his stuff after getting home from the gym.

Have you got children? Playroom would be obvious suggestion? An adult snug? A study? A craft room?

No children yet ... Although would most likely be the first room we changed to a playroom so would design on a budget.
